The flashing F is triggered by the gearbox ecu itself and any fault codes are stored in that ecu, not the engine ecu. The diagnostics you used (presumably opcom??) won't be able to talk to the gearbox ecu, only the engine ecu.. That's probably why you've got no fault codes.

The method with pressing both pedals shows no errors. When I have "F" on the dashboard, the car doesn't show any error because the symbol of the car with the key flashes all the time. The car cranks over, but it seems as though something electronic is preventing the car from firing. I have a flashing 'F' on the dash, which I believe means there is a problem with the easytronic transmission.
