This can be caused by the oil maybe needing replacing as it's not doing its job properly or the transmission in your Kia Ceed (incl. XCeed) being pushed too hard. On my 1.7 CRDI the engine oil is above the full mark by 12mm when cold and by 8mm 5 minutes after switch off. Been to the dealers 3 times. On the first occasion, when the car was brand new, they drained a bit out, but after the first oil change I have been told twice that it has the correct amount in.
