Hydra in jet mode has the same controls as any other plane, you gotta accelerate to go forward (RT on cotroller, W on keyboard) If you just turn off VTOL, you will fall down, it won't fly on its own. Tilt the thumbstick forward to move forward And backwards to move backwards. I hated my Hydra at first. I started flying it alot more and now the lazer feels too fast for me, which I know sounds crazy. I meant that the lazer is more agile than the Hydra. I can make turns quicker and accelerate faster in a lazer.

Yep - right on d-pad. I see a lot of people claiming it's as fast as the Lazer, but I disagree. I purchased the Hydra earlier today, and though I love it, it's definitely not as fast.
