Honestly I’d say no. I bought it because I thought the same way- and after the Ireland DLC I don’t use anything from the ultimate pack. Waste of money. Ultimate pack isn’t worth it. If anything I would take that money you would have spent on a deluxe upgrade and buy a different set from the store instead. The newer shit is much nicer.

Long (er) Answer: This game is worth the investment. Lose yourself for hours sailing in the archipelago of islands in the Aegyan and Ionian (Hoping to get an expanding map with the Tyrrhenian or Black Sea. The Sailing alone in this game, ramming or boarding pirates to take their loot or sink their ships. Ultimate editions have everything, is the GOLD but with the deluxe bonus but the overprice is HUGE so it's not worth it at all. Don't know in odyssey or valhalla but in origins every content/gear/skin can be purchased with ingame money that you get doing silly dailies and luck. Deluxe editions are marketing scams.
