You basically have two options: Buy Crystalline Dust directly from the Trading Post. Salvage Ectoplasm with Mystic kits or Silver-Fed. Which one is best depends on prices and/or method of acquiring ectos (for examples, salvaging rare gear and using the other materials to make up for the cost) 2. Timo0888.
Crafting is a versatile gold-making method that is accessible for players at all gold levels in Guild Wars 2. This video briefly covers background information for making gold from
The VAST majority of my gold comes from doing the daily fractals. Fractal encryptions sell for 23-25 silver each, you get a decent quantity of unidentified gear, and you frequently get account-bound exotics that salvage for insignia or inscriptions (~50s each), and stabilizing matrices sell for around 26-29 silver each.
Drizzlewood will shower you in resources ranging from basics like metal bars to various ranks of trophies. For gold Fractals are fine. Generally, your best bet is to farm for gold and buy mats, but Cursed Shore and Malchor’s Leap are good places to farm T5 mats that come in the bags that enemies drop. Used In: Craft Flawless fillets into Redfish Sushi (requires Chef 400). Keep these and use them as a buff while you are fishing. If you don’t plan to spend much time fishing, or you have more than you can plausibly use, sell the extra on the Trading Post. They currently sell for about 21 Silver each. You have 10 items you have to buy from 5 heart vendors. You don't drop all 250 gold at one time, you drop 25 gold for each of ten items. Take it in small chunks, it is much easier and much less stressful. As for making gold, I'm surprised no one mentioned Silverwastes. Look in LFG for a RIBA squad for silverwastes. Play solo :) Bitterfront Frontier is an option - it's the most profitable "Solo" farm from Peu Research Center (wait for the chart to load). You can do gathering runs in some LS4 maps or Bjora Marches for Volatile Magic afaik which can be decently profitable if you follow paths. Best are T6 mats imho like vicious claw. Not too much clicking, they sell fast and 1 spirit shard is like 0.7-1g. Other more profitable items either require 10 times more buying and clicking (like soft logs that use only 1 philosopher stone at a time) or much more gold to craft the item (like mjolnir, that requires 8xx gold to make but gives 5g fbegT.
