KTM has listened to customer feedback and knew they had to improve the tank range of the RC390. Now fuel capacity has gone up from 10l to 13.7l, which gives the KTM a theoretical tank range of 250 miles. That might sound ludicrous, but even after a hard day’s riding on the road, the RC390 returned just under the quoted 83mpg, recording 78mpg.
First easiest step is make sure the vent hose on the lower RH side isn't kinked and is free flowing. This is the one that connects to the plastic piece in the tank guard. The other end of this hose connects to the bottom of the cannister. Don't just remove this hose as then fuel trapped in the cannister will just drip directly down onto the
