If you put several runes in a socketed item, with exactly the correct number of sockets, in the right order, you’ll get a Runeword. For example, the humble [Steel] Runeword requires you to put the runes Tir + El in any 2-socket axe, mace or sword. First Tir, then El. While the normal effects of Tir is “+2 to Mana after each Kill” and El Ring. How Horadric Cube Crafting Works While there are some basic items listed in the Horadric Cube recipe guide, there is another set of items that you can create in one of four categories: Blood, Caster, Hitpower, and Safety. These items come with preset magical properties, and can roll with anywhere from 1-4 magic affixes.
I assumed: 1 Eld Rune + 1 Chipped Gem + Low Quality Weapon --> Normal Quality Weapon of same type. 1 Ral Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Amethyst + Normal Weapon = Socketed Weapon of same type = 3 guaranteed sockets. That's why I was a bit confused as it's based on the ilvl and randomly added.

Accepted Answer. The 'Stone of Jordan' is a very good Unique Ring that features +1 All Skills, and +25% bonus mana. It most commonly found on Andariel in Nightmare difficulty, however Diablo and Baal in Normal are able to drop it as well, but it's rare. Any monster in Act 4 and above are capable of dropping it. Just more rare. anyway, on topic, i normally sell rare jewelry, because alot of it is a waste of time, anmd you can normally get better, but occassionaly you find a rare ring with brilliant mods for a build, like the 1 i found with something like 6% life leech, +2 to barb combat skills and IAS. perfect for a WW barb, frenzybarb, beserker, concentrate barb etc.

All of these recipes take a piece of Magic (Blue) equipment as well as a Perfect Sapphire, a Jewel and a specific High Rune. The rarity of Jewel you use doesn't matter and it doesn't affect the final combine if you use a rare one or a cheap one; so use
